Four days in Istanbul took us from the cobbled streets of Galata to the domes of Hagia Sophia, from the grandeur of Topkapı Palace to sunset over the Bosphorus. We wandered through the Grand Bazaar, sipped tea beneath Ottoman arches, tasted kaymak and pistachio baklava, and crossed continents by ferry to Üsküdar and Kadıköy. Along the way, we climbed Galata Tower, explored Dolmabahçe Palace, stood beneath the blue tiles of the Sultanahmet Mosque, and watched the skyline glow behind the Maiden’s Tower. This was a journey through faith, flavor, and the layered history of two empires meeting between Europe and Asia.
